Loch Riddon Bothy contacted me in 2023 for a website overhaul: Elevating design for a smoother user experience, optimised copy for SEO, and setting the website up to drive direct bookings. Since then, I’ve supported them with content creation & blogging.

Loch Riddon Bothy is a modern architect-designed bothy on Argyll’s Secret Coast, Scotland. After an initial SEO audit, I elevated the website to drive more direct bookings.

The Results

Loch Riddon Bothy is a sustainable luxury bothy on Scotland’s West Coast. I created a custom SquareSpace website with the intention of increasing direct bookings and improving the website’s discoverability on search engines.

I took the existing website and implemented a number of design changes, including a more strategic structure driving traffic to the booking pages, added copy to improve SEO and the user experience as well as added more visuals to the overall website.

Since launching the new website in October 2023, website traffic has improved significantly, especially to the direct booking pages.
